Residential Energy Conservation has become a hot topic in today’s world where fossil fuels are becoming expensive and many believe burning them contributes to global warming. Our federal government is planning a massive program called HOME STAR also dubbed (Cash for Caulkers) to address the issue with funding proposed at $18 billion for homeowner incentives. It looks hopeful that the BPI Certifications will be part of the program to promote quality assurance. Many states have already adopted the BPI Certification as the standard and many programs now require the BA I Certification. This Certification is a must in today’s Home Performance market.AppleBlossom Energy offers the BPI Building Analyst training and will be offering all of the BPI Certification courses in the very near future. |

What our Students are saying:
John, Mike, & James displayed a breadth of knowledge and aptitude cumulating from their many ears of professional building science experience. With their guidance, patience, humor, and with their ability to interpret foreign ideas, I was able to gain a distinct understanding of the energy audit process, what constitutes a healthy home, and how to work with home owners regarding weatherization measures. At the end of the week, I passed the BPI exam and gained confidence as a Building Performance Analyst I. I highly recommend Apple Blossom, and I intend to obtain my HERS certification through them in the future!
-Kimberly Kooles
Principal, Green Columns Inc.
“This course changed the way I view residential construction, including my own home. The hands on field exercise allowed me to understand and apply classroom information, where James did a great job of sharing his industry knowledge and experience. If you don’t know what CAZ, BAS or ASHRAE mean then you should take this course. It could save someone’s life.” –
